Cancellation Policy

1. How to cancel
You may cancel your PromptVersions subscription at any time from within the app: go to Settings → Billing and click "Cancel Subscription". Cancellation takes effect immediately — no further renewals will be scheduled. You do not need to contact support to cancel.
2. Access after cancellation
After cancelling, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for. You will retain full access to all Pro or Team features during this time. At the end of the billing period, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan with its associated limits (1 workspace).
3. No partial refunds on cancellation
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for the limited circumstances in which refunds are available.
4. Data retention after cancellation
Your prompts, chains, versions, test cases, and workspaces are never deleted for exceeding a plan's limits — everything you've created remains fully intact and accessible on the Free plan. The only restriction after reverting to Free is that you can't create additional workspaces beyond the Free plan's limit of one. Run logs older than 90 days are periodically summarized (token/cost/latency figures are kept; full input/output text is not). You can export your data at any time from Settings → Workspace → Export.
5. Reactivation
You may re-subscribe to a paid plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Since nothing is removed when you revert to Free, all of your existing prompts, chains, and workspaces are immediately available again — reactivation just restores the paid features and limits you had before. Reactivation starts a new billing cycle from the date of re-subscription.
6. Account deletion
Cancelling your subscription is different from deleting your account. If you wish to permanently delete all your data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is irreversible and will immediately and permanently remove all your prompts, chains, workspaces, run logs, and personal information from our systems. Backups may retain data for up to 60 additional days.
7. Termination by PromptVersions
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription immediately and without notice if you materially breach our Terms of Service (e.g. abuse of the platform, illegal activity). In such cases, no refund is owed for any remaining paid period.
