Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PromptVersions (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not access or use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and PromptVersions.
2. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials, session tokens, and LLM provider API keys confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans (Pro and Team) are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay. All charges are in INR (Indian Rupees). Your subscription auto-renews each month unless you cancel. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; you retain full access until the end of the paid billing period.
4. Refund & cancellation policy
All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you cancel your subscription, no partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of your current billing period. If we terminate your account for a material breach of these Terms, no refund is owed. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support within 14 days of the charge. 5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) infringe, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party; (c) attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent security or authentication measures; (d) abuse or circumvent the platform's rate limits or concurrency limits; (e) upload, transmit, or generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.
6. Your content
You retain all ownership rights in the prompts, chains, test cases, and other data you create through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant PromptVersions a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate and deliver the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train machine-learning models.
7. Third-party LLM providers
Running prompts and chains sends your content to the third-party LLM provider whose API key you configure (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). PromptVersions acts as a conduit; we are not responsible for the processing, retention, or privacy practices of those providers. Review each provider's terms and privacy policy before use.
8. Intellectual property
PromptVersions and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, its interface, and underlying technology. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the Service to you.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted access. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PromptVersions' total cumulative liability for any claims arising under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PromptVersions and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, without prior notice for egregious violations. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
