Persistent, per-user notifications for workspace invites, role changes, and removals — pushed live to the bell icon so you never miss a membership change.

What triggers a notification

Where to find them

The bell icon in the dashboard's top bar shows an unread count and opens a popover listing your notifications, newest first. Unlike the toast messages you see after your own actions, these persist until you read them — so an invite sent while you're offline is still waiting for you next time you sign in.

  • Notifications push live over the same SSE connection used for real-time workspace sync — no polling, no refresh needed.
  • Mark a single notification read, or use mark all as read to clear the badge.
  • Invite notifications carry Accept/Decline buttons directly, so you don't have to navigate elsewhere to respond.
Retention
Notifications are kept for 90 days and cleaned up automatically after that — read or unread.
